Fremantle Festival

The Fremantle Festival is a community festival celebrating Fremantle’s culture and the arts.

The Fremantle Festival consists of events produced by the City of Fremantle in collaboration with local arts organisations and the community. Key events held on the Festival weekend include;

Festival Opening Event
Wardarnji Aboriginal Cultural Celebration
Youth Event
Lotterywest Street Parade & Carnival
Bhangra Street Dance Party

These festival events are a showcase of local talent and Fremantle culture through music, dance, theatre, film, fashion and community arts.

A full program detailing the Fremantle Festival events will be produced by the City of Fremantle and distributed in late October.

Fremantle Community Fringe Festival

The 2008 Fremantle Community Fringe Festival will include events initiated and coordinated by members of the Fremantle community.

Community groups or individuals are encourages to organise their own event and then nominate it for inclusion in the Fremantle Community Fringe Festival events listing.

The events listing will be printed and distributed to mailboxes in the City of Fremantle and surrounding suburbs. The events will also be listed on this website.

If you would like to nominate your event for inclusion in the Fremantle Community Fringe Festival, please complete an Expression of Interest Form.
