Heritage Festival > Information 25 May – 2 June 2008 When you walk through Fremantle you will be strolling amongst some of the finest examples of 19th Century British Port heritage buildings in Australia. Fremantle has retained many of its original buildings. Many have been renovated and refurbished to their original grandeur. The City of Fremantle is committed to preserving its heritage and celebrates annually. The Fremantle Heritage Festival takes place from 25th May – 2nd June 2008 where Fremantle will come alive with music, events, workshops, tours, activities and awards that showcase the City’s diverse cultural, social, natural and built heritage.
