When you walk through Fremantle you will be strolling amongst some of the finest examples of 19th Century British Port heritage buildings in Australia. Fremantle has retained many of its original buildings. Many have been renovated and refurbished to their original grandeur. The City of Fremantle is committed to preserving its heritage and celebrates annually.

During the Fremantle Heritage Festival the city comes alive with music, events, workshops, tours, activities and awards that showcase the City’s diverse cultural, social, natural and built heritage. 

The 2010 program is currently under development and will be available mid April.
